Magic Sexyland Review

Something that isn’t made abundantly clear in the screenshots is that this is a flash game. The animations are mid-2000s quality, and the sound (there’s barely any) was recorded decades ago. Don’t buy this game if you’re looking for some alone time. Let me also state that this game is short. I beat it in under an hour. My play time is longer because I cooked dinner while this was running. By the time it was over, I was relieved.

The game is a point and click adventure. You click stuff to make stuff happen, then move to the next room. This repeats until you find a girl and do stuff to her. Each girl has like 4 or 5 scenes each, but they’re not really worth it. They’re all pretty similar and there isn’t really anything sexy in Magic Sexyland.

Now… knowing that this was a flash game, apparently there is an audience that played this way back in the day. I never came across this one, but if you did and you played this on your dad’s computer while he was at work then I guess buying this purely for nostalgia purposes might be understandable. If you’ve never heard of this game before (like me) you’re bound to be unimpressed. It reminds me of old Joe Cartoon flash animations.

The game uses Adobe Air which is a slightly modernized version of Flash. I’m not kidding when i say that the audio clips sound like they were pulled off of AM radio. The puzzles are easy enough that you won’t get much satisfaction from beating them. The only cool thing I noticed is that a couple of the doors are giant vaginas. I don’t know why, because you come out the other side like nothing happened. But hey, Magic Sexyland right?
